When I disappear at a craft fair or farm market, friends and family know where to find me: at the soap booths! My handcrafted soap radar draws me to these wonderful products, and I enjoy meeting the artisans who make them. Each soap maker has an interesting story to tell - and without exception - all have an inspired and definite commitment to the quality of their products.

Where I live (Wisconsin) the craft fair and farm market season is short, so for many months we don't have convenient access to handcrafted products. My family depends on the quality of these products to keep our skin healthy, so I began to search online. I was delighted to find many handcrafted soap websites - however - also found it challenging to sort through and compare choices among them. Thus, Soaps by Nature was born!

We offer selected natural-ingredient handcrafted skincare products made by small-business, small-batch artisan soap makers. We look for companies whose products are exceptional and whose business practices are cruelty-free and earth-friendly.

Our website focus is on careful product selection, convenient browsing and product comparison. We also feel it's important to introduce the artisans who make these products, so include their company profiles.
